WI CLUB OF LAKE SUMTER MEETING MINUTES – SEPTEMBER 18, 2017
The meeting was called to order by President Richard Thies at 5:45 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Vice President Jeanne Engle announced “Dinner is served.”
The president encouraged everyone to purchase their tickets for the Holiday Party if they have not already done so. Entertainment for the event will be supplied by Vinyl Recall. The ticket price is $32 for members and $37 for non-members.
Richard updated us on all the current records of the Wisconsin sports teams.
Game night is on the 4th Monday at Becall Recreation Center. High stakes Sheepshead games will now be offered.
Judy Cimbalnik is again running “Dining Out” for the club. Call Judy to get signed up.
Judy announced that we will now have a singles table available at club meetings and also for Dining Out.
Treasurer’s report was given by Hal Baumann. Motion/second/approved.
MaryKay Childress gave a brief report on Stanton-Weirsdale Elementary School. Due to the passing of Mike Feeney, we are looking for someone to play Santa for this year’s party. The party will be Friday, December 8.
George Allman volunteered to be Santa this year.
Nancy Miller introduced the new members present tonight.
At 7:00 pm Ron the Music Man was introduced.
The 50/50 drawing was held at 8:05 pm.
9:00 pm the meeting was adjourned.
