February 2019 President’s Message
Happy February Wisconsin Club Lake Sumter!!!
What’s with this crazy weather!?!?!
I have family in Appleton and they reported 14” of snow today. Blustery snow storms in the mid-west and in the northeast. From Chicago to Milwaukee they have freezing rain and north of Milwaukee they have snow from 8 – 16” with temps in the mid 20’s. My brother’s son was in Appleton, shoveling snow to clear the driveway to catch his flight to Honolulu this morning.
My goodness, we are blessed! I personally have complained about our Florida weather in recent weeks. Shame, shame, shame on me.
February 18 – Mexican Night
Next week Monday, February 18, marks our Mexican celebration. You can still get tickets for this evening of Mexican food (fajitas and all the fixin’s) from Los Magueyes Mexican Restaurant in Wildwood and music (Mariachi & Latin) from the Romantics Trio out of Sarasota.
Tickets are $12 (members) or $17 (non-members). Call or e-mail Treasurer Hal Baumann (352-259-6552 or firstname.lastname@example.org) to reserve your seat. Just pay at the door next Monday.

Did you get your tickets? Seats are filling up. The Wisconsin Singers will be here again on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, with performances at 5 and 8 PM.
